FamilyNet:  HRC Family Net is a website maintained by the Human Rights Campaign devoted to the issues of concern to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender families.  FamilyNet is a place where you can find practical information, community support, and expert advice about topics ranging from having children to growing old; dealing with children's health issues and your own; managing your finances and using the law to protect your most important relationships.

Gay & Lesbian National Hotline:  GLNH is a non-profit organization which provide a vital service to our community by providing nationwide toll-free peer-counseling, information and referrals. GLNH is open Monday through Friday 6pm-10pm and Saturday noon-5pm EST.

GLSEN:  The Connecticut Chapter of the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Networkis the largest national organization working to end anti-gay bias in America's public, private and parochial schools.
 
Love Makes a Family-Connecticut (LMF) is a statewide coalition of organizations and individuals working for equal marriage rights for same-sex couples in Connecticut. We carry out our mission through community education, grassroots organizing and legislative advocacy and lobbying.

The National Black Justice Coalition is a civil rights organization of Black lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and our allies dedicated to fostering equality by fighting racism and homophobia. The Coalition advocates for social justice by educating and mobilizing opinion leaders, including elected officials, clergy, and media, with a focus on Black communities.
