Gay Straight Alliances |

Connecticut is home to many Gay Straight Alliances (GSAs). These alliances offer a safe space for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) people and their allies to meet and discuss sexual orientation and gender issues, gather information, and find strength and support among their peers. To help organize the GSAs across the state, we have broken them down into four groups: Public School, Independent/Private School, College or University, and Community Based Gay Straight Alliances and Support Groups. Each is listed by the school name and advisor(s) of the organization. We have also added a listing of school based (public, private/independent, and college/university) GSAs by town. If you know of a GSA that we do not have listed, or would like to update information on an existing group, please send us the information so we can update our database. Along with maintaining a listing of GSAs across Connecticut, True Colors also offers periodic GSA Summits. All youth and GSA advisors are encouraged to attend. Public
