SPECTRUM at UCONN Stamford is a student-run organization based on the
values of honesty, compassion, and acceptance. The organization is
composed of caring and diverse groups of students and faculty striving
for the common goal of building community through awareness of Gay,
Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Intersex, and Ally (GLBTQIA)
issues. Our main purpose is to help strengthen and organize the
fight for GLBTQI rights and equality through activism, support, and
education. Spectrum will have monthly movie nights, discussion,
and an HIV/AIDS awareness fair. Meetings tentatively scheduled for
Tuesdays at 1:30 PM in the Center for Women's Studies (311). Wesleyan University,
