In 2007, True Colors XIV: Had more than 2,700 participants Represented people from 16 states, including attendees from 70 cities and towns in Connecticut Was an authorized field trip for 76 schools - including two middle school groups for the first time! Had the assistance of 175 volunteers Presented a total of 143 workshops and five entertainment venues Offered our first ever, and very successful, best practices track which attracted professionals from all over the country Whether you are an organizer, a veteran attendee, or have never been to a conference, we'd like to hear from you! Begin thinking about workshops you'd like to present or see presented. Submit a workshop proposal or if you know somebody who’d make a great presenter, send us their name and address — we’ll take it from there! Please consider sponsoring a youth to attend the True Colors Conference. Most youth rely on a partial or full scholarship to attend the conference, and your generous gift will play an important role in the life of a LGBT youth or youth ally. One youth can attend the two-day conference for your gift of $45.00. Sponsors will be recognized in the conference guide, and all donations are tax-deductible. |
