• Review and be familiar with your Volunteer Information Packet

• Offer your help/assistance to anyone who looks lost or unsure

• If you don’t know the answer to a question, find someone who does

• Make sure there is no sex, potential sex, drugs, alcohol, or inappropriate behavior 

• Report all potential problems to the volunteer coordinators or your specific liaison immediately

• Know who your lead/supervisor is and how to contact them

• Be as familiar as possible with the UCONN campus and facilities being used for the institute and conference

• Be Positive, Be Helpful, Be Yourself!
