True Colors Conference Vendor Information
Please read carefully.
The UCONN Student Union loading dock is located on Glenbrook Road at the North side of
the building. Parking is not permitted in the loading dock area. Vehicles should be moved to a
designated University parking location as soon as loading/unloading is complete. UCONN police will enforce this policy and will ticket.
PLEASE SEE VENDOR POLICIES BELOW. NOTE THAT SIGNED FORMS
WILL BE REQUIRED PRIOR TO YOUR TABLE SET-UP AND ALL MATERIALS
WILL NEED TO BE REVIEWED PRIOR TO PLACEMENT ON YOUR TABLE.
A secured room will be made available to those vendors who will be selling merchandise during the conference. Please keep in mind that, although the conference is being held during semester break, the Student Union is still considered “open to the public”.
Although True Colors volunteers will be staffing the room most of Thursday evening for
conference set up, we can not guarantee the safety of your materials should you choose to
leave them overnight.
- Set up and break down times:*
- Thursday evening (between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.)
- Friday (between 7:15 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.)
- Saturday (between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.)
*Access to exhibitor space will be available through the loading dock entrance.
- Each table is approximately 6 feet long, and includes two chairs. Backboards or partitions are not included. Tables will not be “skirted”. We recommend covering your table with something wonderfully festive!
- You can NOT hang anything on the walls in the Student Union.
- Neither Internet Access nor Electrical outlets are automatically available. If you need either, PLEASE CALL US AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AT 860-232-0050 so we can arrange for your table to be set up in the appropriate area.
- There will be lunches available for purchase on Friday but we recommend bringing your own lunch on Saturday.

True Colors Vendor Policies
Upon occasion, True Colors offers outside organizations the ability to set up informational, organizational or vendor tables at our events including our annual conference, various fundraisers and other True Colors activities. In order to be considered for participation in any True Colors events, organizations, co-sponsors or vendors must agree to adhere to the following conditions:
- All Individuals (both paid staff and volunteers) staffing your table must read and agree to adhere by the volunteer policies attached. Their agreement must be validated by having each individual fill out and sign the volunteer policies acknowledgement and release form. Volunteers should turn in completed forms to the True Colors Staff Resource Room Liaison prior to the beginning of their staffing hours.
- All materials (brochures, flyers, magazines, handouts, etc.) must be reviewed and approved by the True Colors Staff Resource Room Liaison PRIOR TO being placed upon your table. No unapproved materials may be placed on any table at any time. Any that are discovered will be removed immediately and the vendor asked to leave. Sexually explicit materials will not be permitted under any circumstances at events in which youth are present.
- Failure to comply with any of these policies may result in the immediate termination of any vendor agreement, the expulsion of the vendor from the event and/or the permanent rejection of the organization’s participation in future True Colors events or activities.
